Beta testers get 16 Legacy Points: try the Legacy system now

The achievement Played in the WoW: Forever Beta, reward 16 Legacy Points, and the nine class icons

Patch 1.60.1.70291 added a thank-you for everyone in the WoW Forever beta: the achievement Played in the WoW: Forever Beta.

Granted for playing in the World of Warcraft: Forever Beta. Thanks for testing!
Reward: 16 Legacy Points.

What Legacy Points are

Legacy Points are Forever's account-wide progression. You normally earn them by reaching level 25, 45 and 60 for the first time on each class, and you spend them in three Legacy trees that help every character on your account. With 16 points from the beta achievement, you can try the system before you have levelled a single class:

  • The tree with Talented: Thrill of Adventure, Talented, Frequent Flier, Well Rested, Field Medicine, Field Guide and High Alert.
  • The professions tree: Dedicated Study, Bartering, Master Chef, Working Overtime, Bountiful Harvest, Performance Bonus and Luremaster.
  • The third tree: Reagent Economy, Gourmand, Diplomat, The Quick and the Dead, Permanence, Reinforce and For Great Honor.

+5 talent points from Talented

Talented has five ranks. Each rank gives a talent point earlier, from level 9 down to level 5, so a character with all five ranks starts its class tree with 5 extra talent points. Our talent calculator counts them too: the "bonus points" box is already on in the links below.
